Volunteers have been filling the gap between City resources and
community needs through a myriad of services since 1983.

The City of Plano has recently enhanced its service to volunteers by adopting a new online management software program called Volunteer2. This volunteer referral system is located at MyVolunteerPage.com, an independent site that helps connect volunteers with organizations that utilize volunteers.

Volunteers can explore the various opportunities and, if interested, can send their contact information directly to the City from this website. You will then be contacted for an interview where we can match you with an opportunity that fits your schedule and interests.

Please note: When accessing the volunteer program links below, you will leave the City of Plano’s website and enter a Volunteer2 site that is run independently of the City.

Opportunities are available in a variety of areas including:

Animal Shelter,   Environmental Services,   Libraries,   Emergency Preparedness,   Fire and Police,
Parks and Recreation and Support Services
.
